Adalei's Smiles! (May 2008)

I was taking pictures of Adalei and was unsuccessful catching her smiling.

So I started telling her to smile and each time she gave me a different "smile"!

I thought it was funny to see her version of a smile.

I wonder what age it is when we learn how to smile!

Isn't she just cute?

Here I am! (June 2008)

I'm always taking pictures and rarely find myself having someone take a picture of me. I've received some feedback that I need to get a picture of me to post every once in awhile. So, here I am! While Charity was here this month to visit. I had her take three pictures of me. (That was the maximum number for her patience!) Anyhow, I thought this was the best of the pictures. I also wanted a picture to post on my ward website so this is what I used! I hope you all like it!!! I'm happy and it was great having Charity visit for the weekend. She helped me organize, cleaned my bathroom, and helped me decorate! My house is looking better!

My fabulous flowers! (May 2008)

I just love my beautiful flowers. I grew these tulips. (Randy gave me the bulbs that previously grew at the Portland Temple.)

Randy also gave me 3 different lilac bushes - two lavender and one with white flowers. This is a close up of one tree. I just love lilacs.

This is my pretty ground cover with the pretty flowers.

Here's all three of my lilac bushes.

My poppies are my favorite. Randy also gave me some of these flowers that he got in California. I love my California poppies.

Here's my rosemary in bloom. Now I have rosemary for rosemary bread, rosemary potatoes, etc. I really enjoy my gardening and my beautiful flowers. If all goes well, I'll have some tomatoes, raspberries, and more herbs to show you by the end of the summer.

Mother's Day - 2008

Nate did a great job tending the girls and making dinner at the same time.

We had Japanese pancakes and chocolate chip cookies! Yum!

What a fun Mother's Day I had!

While Nate was cooking, I took some photos.......

Adalei
needed to borrow my phone to make some phone calls to Aunt Charity and Uncle Jason.

Adalei
was quite busy as she was able to eat some chocolate chips before the cookies were baked.

Nate always makes delicious chocolate chip cookies!

I think this is a great picture of Misty with Adalei and Brielle. Adalei just loves to hold Brielle.

It took Nate awhile to make the Japanese pancakes as Adalei was giving him more help than Nate needed.

Nate had the kitchen all to himself. I was thrilled when I found out he was making my favorite Japanese pancakes.

Cute little Brielle with her pretty smile. She's rolling front to back and back to front. Laying on her back, she can also hold up her head and shoulders off the floor - I think she has strong abs!

Adalei had fun getting flour all over the kitchen floor while Nate wasn't looking. Nate was so patient to help her clean the floor.

I had a wonderful Mother's Day - Charity, Jason, and Casey called me. Charity sent me some cute new shirts from GAP along with a pretty polka dot card. Jason sent me some enlargements of my favorite photos he has taken. The pictures are now hanging in my cube at work. Nate gave me a ticket to go see Charlotte's Web play in Woodland. I had a great time at the play.
