Allison's Photos

I took these pictures of Allison at various times and decided to post them all together.  She is just adorable and I loved holding her and feeding her.
She is such a good baby.
 A cute little yawn....
So beautiful...........
I saved these pictures for the end so they will be at the top of my blog until my next trip!

Saturday Nite BBQ Before the Baby Blessings - Folsom

The kids all played together perfectly.  It was amazing.  I was so happy that they could all be together and play with their cousins.
Cute Spencer above and two pretty girls below - Paisley and Brielle.

We all had a great time together.  This picture shows Jenna's mom and dad on the couch with Allison, Morris Tanner in the rocker, Ashley's dad at the fireplace and Casey in front.  Jason was outside doing the BBQing and Ashley and her mom were preparing the rest of the dinner in the kitchen.  It was a great meal.
Ashley made a yummy dessert - chocolate brownies with berries!  Charity took this picture above and I love it!
This is a special picture - me with my oldest and youngest grandchildren.  Adalei is 6 years old and Allison 2 months old.  I am the happiest grandma!
Adalei and Brielle playing dress up and having fun.  Ashley working in the kitchen.
Morris had the kids wrapped around his little finger and they just loved him.  I think he was telling them what to do and after the huddle, they would all go and tell someone that they loved them.  It was so nice when they all told me that they loved me.  It was a fun game.  I was amazed at how much the kids enjoyed doing it.
The final picture of the night - Morris and Christi reading to Brielle, Paisley, and Adalei.

(On Sunday after the blessings, Jenna and Casey all had us over for taco salads.  Yum!  Yum!  They were so good and we all loved the sweet corn tomalito!  That is my favorite.  Unfortunately I didn't have my camera with me to take pictures and left before dessert was served so I really missed out.)

Happenings the day before the baby blessings - Saturday

We went on a walk on a trail by Casey and Jenna's house.  I thought this picture of Nate and family was really nice.
These little kids all on their own went and sat on the curb talking together.  It was so cute that I just had to take a picture.  (This is five of my nine grandchildren.)  After this picture, Nate took the kids on a little adventure off the trail.  Misty, Charity and I saw a huge snake that we think Nate disturbed.  The worst part was that little Benson got a tick on his head.  I couldn't watch taking it out so I didn't get a picture of that ordeal.  Casey did great to notice it and remove it.  Someone had a smart idea to give Benson a lollipop so he didn't even cry when they were getting the tick out!
Brielle and Weston above were watching TV.  Weston just loved this race car driver outfit that Casey got at a yard sale.  In the picture below you can see Benson also watching TV.  I saw him in this position several times watching TV.  He loves that Disney Cars movie.  He is just so cute!

Adalei is almost 7 years old and has just started to read.  It was so wonderful to see her reading to her sister and cousins.  They read for quite awhile.
Weston and Adalei reading again.  I'm so happy to see that my grandchildren love to read.  They have good parents that read to them too.
This picture makes me laugh.  I caught Benson on top of the island in the kitchen.  He had crawled up there from the other side and had opened that drawer and got out the chocolate candy.  I think he finished it off.  I wanted to take a picture without distracting him.  You can tell he's a lot like me since he can't leave the chocolate alone.

Hanging out after bowling

We love to read in our family.  Charity is reading to Weston above and Ashley reading to Paisley below.

Balls and cars seem to be the favorite boys for Spencer above and Benson below.

My adorable three oldest granddaughters!  They had so much fun together!
After pizza and bowling, we had more pizza.... (below)

Elijah was so cute - he kept telling us he could ride this bike and then he tried to find someone that would put the training wheels on it.  He is a smart boy!
The kids had a great time playing in Casey and Jenna's backyard.  Weston above was writing on the concrete with chalk and his hands prove it!
Brielle above and Adalei below were both riding around in the backyard having a good time with the scooters.
It was awesome to have my whole family together!

2012 Family Reunion - Bowling Activity

For our annual family reunion this year, we decided to get together the weekend of the baby blessings for Audrey and Allison so that was the focus of our time together.  We did have a chance to go bowling before the rest of the extended families arrived.  It was a fun time and the kids loved the balls!
The kids loved their time bowling and I'm grateful no one got hurt from dropping bowling balls.  The bowling alley was great to let all the kids bowl in one lane.  They just kept taking turns and I really enjoyed watching them.
Adalei and Paisley hadn't seen each other in some time so it was cute as they were getting reacquainted and sliding down the wall together at the bowling alley.
It was quite dark in the bowling alley so my pictures didn't turn out as well as I would have liked and you may notice, like in the picture above, that movement resulted in some blur with my pictures.  I still wanted to include them to capture our fun memories.
Adalei above and Weston with the ball in the picture below.

 Paisley above and Elijah below.

 Benson above and Spencer below.
Unfortunately I didn't get a good picture of Brielle or of the new babies.  We had pizza and bowled and it was great!  I'm so grateful we could all be together.

Memorial Day in Sunny California

Charity, Jason and family, and Casey and family spent Memorial Day together.  The kids had a great time playing at a big park in Rocklin.
Allison was dressed so cute for the day!
 Spencer peeking out....
 Paisley enjoying the slide above.
Below, Jenna pushing Paisley and Benson on the swings while holding Allison.  Paisley and Benson were having such a good time.  They didn't want to stop when it was time to leave.
We made a quick stop at the Fountains to say good-bye to Ashley's parents.  I took Paisley and Spencer for a little ride in the train before we left to go to the park.  It was a fun day.

Allison's Blessing Day

Allison was blessed at the church in Roseville.  After the blessing, we took some pictures outside the church.  I just loved this picture above with Casey, Jenna, Weston, Benson, and Allison.
I got to hold Allison for a quick picture.  She was just lovely in her blessing dress.  I didn't get more pictures like I wanted to so Jenna will be sending me some of her pictures which I will post later.  I was grateful to be able to attend this special event.
This is cute Allison after the blessing in her new outfit.  Charity gave her the lovely dress.  She is such a good baby.

Audrey's Blessing Day

Audrey was blessed in the church by the Sacramento Temple.
This is a picture of Jason, Ashley, Paisley, Spencer, and Audrey right before the blessing.
Time was limited but I got a picture of me holding Audrey and one of Ashley holding Audrey.  I'm so grateful that I could be there for this special day.

This is a picture of Audrey when attending Allison's blessing.
After church, Ashley dressed Audrey up in her blessing dress again so we could take some pictures of her in the beautiful dress.
Audrey went from awake, to crying, and then to sleeping while we took pictures.
She is just so sweet in every picture.  I loved this picture with her little foot sticking out from under her dress.
Just a couple of pictures showing Ashley above and then Jason below with all three kids at once.  They are doing great!

Audrey looks so beautiful in pink also.  This was taken the day after the blessing.  Ashley's mom bought this beautiful dress for Audrey.
