Good-bye to PacifiCorp! (March 12, 2008)

Sheila was so sweet to make my last day at PacifiCorp a wonderful send off to my next job. This picture was taken beside my cube in internal audit. Sheila arranged a luncheon at Newport Grill with my department and a few friends. Then after my exit interview, she surprised me with one of my favorite cakes from Beaverton Bakery which is my favorite bakery. I helped myself to two pieces of this German chocolate cake! It was scrumptious and I enjoyed every single bite. Sheila also gave me a wonderful gift from Bath and Body Works. Thank you to Sheila for the special day!

After six years and three months, it was hard to say good-bye to all my friends and a job that I loved. I have all my memories and hope to keep in touch with many of my coworkers who have become very good friends! I had three exciting jobs - senior tax analyst to implement PowerTax for fixed asset tax depreciation, project manager/business controls consultant for implementation of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and senior internal auditor to test controls for Sarbanes-Oxley, perform operational audits and conduct fraud investigations. I owe a special thank you to my last manager, Sean for giving me the opportunity to work in internal audit and be able to do process level testing of controls which gave me the experience for my new job! President Hinckley was right - things always work out! I am very happy!

Ashley, Jason and Paisley - all smiles!

This is such a cute picture of Jason, Ashley and Paisley. We were getting ready to go to the airport on my trip home so I took the opportunity to take a final picture with the three of them together. What a cute family! It makes a mother and grandmother very happy!

Here's a picture at Rubio's in Folsom, California. Paisley met her future broker (Darrell) who is a friend of the family. Darrell performs miracles! He is amazing with investments! Darrell treated us to a delicious lunch.

Paisley's favorite position is laying on her dad's chest! She never fails to quickly go to sleep in this position. They look so very comfortable together!!!

Aunt Charity and Little Paisley (1 month - March 2008)

"Aunt Charity" loves little Paisley. In the second picture, we were driving in the car and Paisley started fussing. So Charity held her little hand and she immediately stopped fussing and went right to sleep. There seems to be a connection with Charity and Paisley. Charity is already looking forward to shopping and watching chick flicks with her cute little niece! As you can see in the pictures, they are very content together!

Folsom - Beautiful California! (March 2008)

We went to Jack's Urban Eats for dinner one night. Ashley, Jason and I had sandwiches and fries while Charity had a salad. The food was delicious!

Just for fun, I asked Ashley and Jason to make funny faces for this picture! These fries were interesting - shoestring potatoes topped with blue cheese dressing and spicy chili oil. Pretty yummy!

The sunsets in Folsom were beautiful. These pictures were all taken in the front yard where Jason and Ashley live. I loved the beautiful colors and the cloud formations.

This picture of the two photographers was taken just before a wedding where Jason was hired to be the photographer. This was a beautiful setting for the wedding. I was fortunate that I could watch Paisley while Jason and Ashley took photos! (Jason is a professional photographer on the side and really enjoying his new business. Ashley also works with him. The photography work is marvelous.)

Adalei loves blueberries the best! (2/2008)

Cute little Adalei just loves fruit. Blueberries are her #1 favorite! When she comes to my house, she always wants a snack with blueberry yogurt. Peach is her second favorite and tonite she told me that strawberry was #3. She just loves yogurt also.

Adalei is sitting on my stairs eating frozen blueberries out of my freezer. She just loves them - fresh, frozen, in yogurt, etc.

She likes to put her blueberries in this small gelato dish from Spain.

I keep a supply of blueberries for Adalei. During the summer, I like to buy her fresh blueberries but now I have 2 bags of frozen ones in my freezer.

Pictures of Pretty Paisley (March 2008)

Little Paisley is so cute - just looking at her pictures makes me miss her and wish that I could hold her and be with her.

Paisley has been jaundiced for the last few weeks so the doctor ordered 20 minutes of sun bathing every day. I had to take some pictures of her out in the sun. That California sun is quite bright. She shut her eyes because of the bright light and quickly fell asleep. It was fun to watch her stretch and move while she was asleep and also when she was awake.

What darling mother and daughter pictures!

Intel - the engineer's office (Folsom, California)

Jason gave me a fun tour of Intel. Here are some pictures from his cube.

He had a certificate of contribution displayed and the computer had beautiful wallpaper on it.

This picture was taken from the walkway between Intel buildings. It was so beautiful with the trees all in blossom.

I captured a picture of Jason and Paisley in front of the building where Jason works.

This last picture is one of the buildings at Intel. There are eight buildings there.

My Third Granddaughter - Paisley Lynn (March 2008)

It was a long wait from February 15th when Paisley was born until March 12th when I went to see her. She is so adorable. I was visiting her for four days and enjoyed every moment. She is so cuddly and so cute. It was so hard to leave and come home at the end of my visit. I wish I lived closer to her. I know she will grow up too fast!
Here is Paisley in her car seat which was partly purchased with my contribution. Jason and Ashley got an excellent car seat and stroller.

I was so happy holding Paisley and bouncing her up and down. I love being a grandmother! It is the best!

Sheree Tanner Family Picture - Christmas 2007

My favorite pictures are pictures of my family. I love my children, my daughter-in-laws, my three precious granddaughters, and I'm eagerly awaiting the arrival of my first grandson - any day now! I have a wonderful family and enjoy my time with them very much. Now that I've seen all the missions, my vacations will be to Sacramento to visit those that don't live here.

When we all get together, I always want an updated family picture. I know not everyone feels the way I do but I really appreciate them giving me this gift of a family picture. (Also, I hope they don't forget that they promised me another family picture next month at Casey's graduation and including the new baby.)

From left to right, Ashley, Jason, Charity, me holding Adalei, Casey, Jenna, Nate, and Misty holding baby Brielle.

Anyhow, these two pictures were taken at my house in Vancouver where we celebrated Christmas all together as a family. It was a special time and I cherish the memories. Jason is the photographer of our family and he also captured Adalei at a cute moment so I wanted to share that picture from Christmas also. (The family picture was taken with one timed shot so I think it turned out great!)
