I Won First Place!

My ward had a Halloween party last night with a chili cook-off. There were 18 pots of chili and I won first place! I was shocked and thrilled!

Precious Moments

The kids were so cute watching TV and having the same pose.

Spencer was doing a good job eating this weekend.
It was so nice to catch his smile with this picture.

This is just the cutest picture above - I took this after church in front of the temple.

More of Spencer and his cars.......

Paisley was having fun trying on a few princess dresses!

I loved Benson's pajamas! They are so fun! Weston had fun pajamas too but he was playing and I didn't get a good picture.
As always, I had a fantastic visit to Sacramento. It is always so hard to leave. I already look forward to my next visit!

Apple Hill and After

I was so excited for this trip to go to Apple Hill. It was a beautiful fall day with perfect temperatures and a lot of people had the same idea we did about going to Apple Hill. The traffic was extremely slow and the lines very long for food once we got there. Charity has her caramel apple above.

The caramel apples were the best part of Apple Hill. We all enjoyed the caramel apples very much. Paisley is eating Charity's pie-filling-caramel apple in the picture above. Paisley said it tasted like a sugar cookie probably because she was only eating the coating on the apple. Weston selected a chocolate-covered apple as shown below. My favorite was a chocolate caramel apple with walnuts.

Playing at the park and having fun!

Playing and Having Fun

Weston and Benson had fun at the store trying on Halloween masks!

Cute Benson playing in the slide above...

I was playing with the boys in the car and we were having a lot of fun. I especially enjoyed Benson's laughs. The boys are so cute!

I'm not sure why but Weston was stacking up the salad dressings at dinner time. He was doing a really good job just like on "Minute to Win It."

The boys ready for bed..... I had such a good time with them.

Spencer's Birthday - 2 years old

Spencer just loves cars and Ashley made the cutest cupcakes above. The boys really enjoyed them and had fun playing with their cars.

Look at that twinkle in Spencer's eyes! It probably feels like his first birthday to him because he was sick last year for that birthday. He enjoyed this birthday so much more.

He loved all the birthday presents. This bubble blowing Mater was the hit of the party. Everyone wanted to take a turn.

Trike, Bike, and Dinner Out

Elijah got this tricycle for an early birthday present. He loved his bike and scooted around since his feet didn't reach the pedals yet. Hopefully in a few months his legs will be a bit longer. Brielle was wanting him to take her for a ride. (My brother Randy is in the background. He made the trip with me so Nate could clean his teeth.)

Adalei knows how to ride a bike! Nate had his hands by her in case he needed to catch her but she was doing really good. Nate is sure a patient dad!

We had our traditional dinner at La Burrita. Since it was Adalei's birthday, they brought her a plate of churros and whipped cream. It was delicious! I had a fun visit and enjoyed being there with the family. I am a blessed grandma!

Adalei's Birthday

Misty made pancakes for Adalei's birthday breakfast. Elijah was patiently holding his plate and hoping to get the first pancake.

I just love Adalei's birthday dress! She looked so pretty.

Both grandmas got her books which she loved.

She also got a singing machine with a microphone.

Misty made a delicious carrot cake for the birthday cake. Adalei blew out all the candles on the first try. I think she had a happy day. I was grateful to be there.

Adalei's Birthday Party with Friends

Adalei had her birthday party at the Redwood Park.

Elijah was having fun at the park too.

Here's a picture of Adalei with her friends and opening her birthday gifts. She got lots of great gifts. The kids had pizza to eat before they opened gifts.

Instead of birthday cake, they had ice cream cones. Adalei got the first one!

Brielle.....

Elijah's cone was dripping!

It was a fun party even though it was hot. I had fun watching the kids play "duck, duck, goose" and "red rover." Misty and Nate did a great job planning the party. It was a successful event!

Adalei's in Kindergarten

Misty walks Adalei to school every day.
School is from 8 am to 2:15 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and every other Friday.

Here's a picture of Adalei in her kindergarten room. Her teacher is in the background.

Tinkerbell, Zooms, and Chocolate Cake!

I was so excited to see Spencer eating his breakfast! He was eating much better than he has in quite awhile.

Paisley having fun on her bean bag watching TV.

Paisley in her new Tinkerbell shirt!

Cute Spencer

Paisley and Spencer together on the bean bags.

Paisley and Spencer wanting to ride the carts at Winco...... I was tempted to let them.

Paisley loved her new Tinkerbell costume - she played dress up with it!

Spencer loves truck and cars. He calls them "zoom, zooms."

We celebrated Spencer's 2nd birthday early so I could be there. He was so cute trying to blow out the candles. We enjoyed a delicious Costco chocolate cake!

Spencer enjoying his birthday cake.

Spencer got a lot of help getting his birthday presents out of the gift bag.

Spencer loved his Cars book.
