Another victory for Nate! He won 1st place in the 3k pioneer day race! Adalei enjoyed his first place prize - a bottle of flavored water and a power bar! Misty and I walked the 3k path with Adalei and Brielle in strollers. It was fun and greatexercise!
Pioneer day activities included a children's parade. Adalei started in the parade with her doll and stroller but didn't get very far as she was distracted by watching the other children on their bikes, etc.
Can you believe this? Do you recognize Nate in the red jacket? Nate was having a fun time doing the gunny sacks races with the children. I was really surprised that all the little kids were ahead of Nate, but he did catch up some before the race was over. I think Nate inspired the missionaries as I later saw all the missionaries in the stake having their own gunny sack race. Everyone had a fun time!
