Fourth of July Racing in Wilsonville, Oregon (2009)

The picture above is Nate before his 10k race! Of course he ran in record time and did great! I wish I could remember the exact minute and second count - Nate, can you remind me?

This is Brielle above and Adalei below waiting for their first running competition!

Nate above giving high 5's half way through his race - he was looking great!
Look at cute Adalei and Brielle with their race awards - Popsicles, bubbles, and pencils. They finished their race!
This is the beginning of the children's race. I think it was a quarter mile long. Brielle decided she didn't want to run so Nate picked her up. I guess that was okay because she wasn't disqualified and it happened right at the starting line. You can see they were in last place at the start! but Brielle ended the race by running on her own and that qualified her for the awards! Brielle was the last one across the finish line and Adalei in front of her!
In the picture above you can see the race competition - Brielle was definitely the youngest!
Beautiful Misty watching the races! She looks great and you can't even tell she is pregnant. She hides it quite well. The baby is due October 4th! Doesn't she look wonderful in green?

This was my excitement and fun for the 4th of July! I did also enjoy watching the Neil Diamond 4th of July concert on TV! I love those patriotic songs - I'm proud to be an American! I remember Jason playing that song by Lee Greenwood over and over before he left on his mission to Spain - that song used to bring tears to my eyes and it's still a special song to me! Happy Birthday to America! I'm grateful to live here!
