An Afternoon at Chuck E. Cheese's

Adalei and Brielle had a fun time on the rides.

Adalei was brave enough to pose by the mouse.
Below, we had a yummy lunch of pizza and fries.

Adalei was having so much fun and
below Brielle was proud that she could ride without holding on!

Beautiful House for Sale in Camas, Washington

The house is ready to sell! The new shrubs in front of the house are cute.
This is the cute living room above and the dining room below.
I folded all the napkins in the glasses.

This is the entry way above and the family room below.
The pictures aren't all hung yet - 6 more to hang tomorrow.

This is the cute breakfast nook above. I recovered the chairs and impressed myself as to how well they turned out. Below is a good shot at part of the kitchen.

Here's the rest of the kitchen above and the girls' bunk beds below.

I loved the laundry room with the colorful baskets and the picture which I made!
This is one picture of the girls' bathroom above and the guest bedroom below.
The comforter set below is borrowed from my guest bedroom.

This is the master bedroom above - this picture doesn't do it justice but gives you an idea.

Sunday Dinner

I made a fun Sunday dinner for Nate and family yesterday. The menu was pumpkin soup, salad, cinnamon-sugar muffins and homemade chocolate ice cream.

Adalei and Brielle had a library book about pumpkin soup and the recipe was at the end of the story. I told them I would make pumpkin soup for them as a result. It was actually quite good.

The salad was mostly vegetables from my little garden - lettuce, broccoli, and peas. Then I added some blueberries and sliced almonds. It was yummy!

The muffins were a big hit and so was the ice cream. It was really fun and there were no leftovers except a little pumpkin soup!

Nate's and Misty's three...........

Aren't they cute? I took this picture this week. I brought blueberries and raspberries and even Elijah was having a great time eating them. He doesn't even make a mess which sure surprised me! That boy doesn't seem to need a bib!

Yesterday

Adalei and Brielle looked so cute yesterday that I had to take a picture. Elijah was sleeping when this picture was taken and I forgot to take one of him after he woke up.

I'm quite excited about my garden below. This is the first garden I've had since I moved to Washington. I planted tomatoes, broccoli, peas, squash, lettuce, green peppers, and onions. I've been eating lots of lettuce and had broccoli once. Next I want to do a box with strawberries.

Farm Life in Missouri

I love these pictures taken in the town where my parents live! At the bottom is a picture of my parents with my grandfather who is 95 years old.

My other brothers and sisters

While visiting my mother, grandfather, and step-father in Missouri, I attended the Creek family reunion. This was my step-father's family's reunion. Mom and I are in the first picture. The following pictures show my other sisters and brothers. Two sisters were missing: Shirley from Utah and Melanie from Seattle. From the top to the bottom below: Donna, Renee, Jeanie, Alan, and Brad. Donna is from Utah and the others live in Missouri.

Casey and Family at the Family Reunion

Benson is sitting up all by himself on this chair. He's only 3 months old. I gave my 3 youngest grandsons each a 4th of July bib. I wanted to take a picture with the 3 of them with their bibs on but that didn't happen. I was pleased to get a picture of Benson with his on.

Below, Weston is making a seal sound. He's so cute and just makes me smile.
My little buddy Weston............
Another shot of my youngest grandson - he's so good. I can't remember him even crying. I also think he's very handsome.
Below, we were in Lincoln City at the outlets. I thought it was so cute that Weston, all by himself, got up on the platform with the mannequins. I just had to take a picture of him as Paisley watched and Casey was coming to get him.
Weston just loved throwing the baseball at the beach in Newport. He's going to be a good ball player very soon.
I'm not sure where Weston got the idea but he was having fun putting the top of his head in the water. This was a tiny stream of water flowing into the ocean.
Jenna was holding him when we got back to the house. She was so good to make sure he took his shoes off before he went in the house.
Here's a picture of Weston playing in the tub! He had a great time from the beach to the bath tub!

Miscellaneous Family Reunion Photos

I loved the photos I took at the beach. This is Jason and family with Misty.

Here I am - the proud grandma with Spencer and Adalei!

It was such a wonderful time. I am so blessed with a terrific family and cherish the time I can spend with each one of them.
