Roseville, California - Allison's Birthday Party - April 11, 2015

Allison is just adorable and now 3 years old.  I was excited to be able to be there for her birthday party.
Her birthday cake with the octopus was so cute and also so delicious.
Allison was so cute opening her birthday gifts.
Every single gift she said, "I love it!"  It was so sweet.
I got her a butterfly necklace, jewelry box, the Minnie Mouse shoes (above picture), and some clothes.
Here's the necklace
I found Dalton, Allison, and Audrey all sitting on a skateboard.  They are such good friends.
Audrey and Dalton on the slide.
The porcupine with fruit spears.  (I helped cut up the fruit.)
Casey - Isn't the dip cute?

Handsome Dalton with his lunch
Joanna and Ashley chatting.  Emme and Audrey are in the picture too.
Paisley - I love her shirt.
Me holding precious Emme!  What a beautiful smile.
Another of Paisley's beautiful smile
The adults had a race around the park and the kids did too.  It was fun to watch.  I think Charity won the adult race.  (She did get a head start on everyone else though.)
Casey used Benson's toy sword to cut the cake.
Malcolm got this singing fox for Allison.  It was the hit of the party.  It sang the song, "What does the fox say."  Really cute.
The table was so appealing for this mermaid theme birthday party - octopus in dip with veggies, fish crackers, jello with Swedish fish in the middle, fruit porcupine, blue punch, and spinach dip with bread.  Jenna is so creative and always does an excellent job.
Ashley pushing Audrey and Allison on the swings.

After the party, we went back to Casey's for pizza.  It was so fun to be there for the weekend.  I had a great time.
I spent Saturday night and Sunday with Charity.  Unfortunately I was dealing with some medical issues and she had to take me to Urgent Care Sunday morning.  I always enjoy my time with Charity and wish we could have done the fun things we had planned.  Hopefully next time....

Roseville, California & Weston's Baseball Game - April 11, 2015

I bought Weston and Benson Lego sets and they put them together really fast.
Dalton was so cute.  He just wanted his dad.  He kept knocking on the door and calling for him.
Allison laughing - I love to hear her laugh.
My trip to Roseville was to see Weston play baseball.  I didn't get to see him play last year and I had heard how good he was.  He lived up to his reputation.
Casey helps coach the team and he was coaching Weston at 3rd base.
Weston is an amazing baseball player.  This picture was taken after he finished his first run for the game.
Jenna with Dalton while we watched the game

Weston made 4 runs during this game.  Here he is on 3rd base again.
Weston also got 3 outs when his team was in the field.
 On 3rd base again....
 On 3rd base again....
Weston received the game ball for doing such a great job in the game.  He had 4 runs and got 4 outs!  He's an excellent baseball player and I hope he will keep playing so I can watch him again.  Congratulations Weston!!!

Folsom, California Visit - April 9-10, 2015

Jason picked me up at the airport at 10 pm on Wednesday night.  I stayed with him until Friday night.
I got to walk Paisley to school both days while I stayed at their house.  She is really good at riding her bike.
Audrey walked with me to school and back and one day we stopped and played at the park for more than an hour.  She had fun on the swings and even had me going down the slide with her.
Spencer went with me in the afternoon to get Paisley after school.  He was really fast on his scooter.
Paisley decided on the way home from school that she hadn't had a yard sale in a long time so that day was a good day to do it again.  She made a sign and set up her stuff.  She decided to do an art sale and sell pictures of whatever people wanted her to draw.

For 5 cents, she drew this picture of me.  I thought it was really cute.  I think she made $1.50 at her yard sale.  Spencer was so supportive.  He yelled, "Yard Sale!" as cars drove by.  I expect Paisley will be very successful in business some day.  She's already very creative and motivated.  I was so happy to be there and watch her yard sale.
This is a picture of scripture time with Ashley and the kids.  Jason was there too but I didn't catch him in the picture.
I was so excited to get to go to Audrey's ballet dance class.  She was so sweet.
It was really fun to watch her dance.
Emme is just a doll.  I was so excited to catch her laughing in this picture.
Casey got us tickets to go to Cirque du Soleil - Varekai.  It was amazing and we all enjoyed it very much.  (Casey, Jenna, Jason, Ashley, Charity, me, Malcolm, Joanna, Brock)  What a treat!  We got to sit in box seats and they catered dinner for us.  It was so fun.
Emme was so cute.  She got to go to the show also and she was so good.
While I was in Folsom, Ashley took me to my new favorite place for lunch - Selland's!  It is delicious.  I loved my sandwich and can't wait to go again.

Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge, Ridgefield, Washington - April 19, 2015

I love the spring time and all the beautiful wild flowers.
Purple flowers are always my favorites.
Jeff and I walked around the refuge and enjoyed the flowers and some birds.  We didn't see any animals.

Steigerwald Lake National Wildlife Refuge, Washougal, Washington - April 18, 2015

Jeff and I walked the trail at the Steigerwald Lake National Refuge.  I had never seen turtles in nature before so it was interesting to see so many in the water on the logs.
The view of Mt. Hood in the distance is always beautiful.
A cute sign showing that I'm between Alaska and South America.

Easter - April 5, 2015

I was at home for Easter and conference weekend.  I made pancakes for breakfast and was surprised to find my bunny back again for the spring.  I hadn't seen him since last year.  I called him my Easter bunny.
Jeff came and watched conference with me.  We walked around Lacamas Lake after conference.
The Camas lilies were in bloom and so beautiful.  It was a nice day.
