Easter Morning in Folsom - 2013 (March)

Paisley was the first one up to discover her Easter basket and all the candy.

Audrey was up second and Paisley was right there to help her with her Easter basket.  Audrey was excited to find fish crackers in her Easter eggs.
Spencer was up last and got distracted by his new car for a few minutes before getting to his Easter candy.
 Audrey sharing her Easter breakfast.
Paisley and Spencer hunting Easter eggs outside.  Spencer was having a hard time finding some eggs.
It seemed like Paisley was remembering from last year.
They were excited to open the eggs after finding all of them.
Paisley and Spencer made this cute Easter decoration.

Taking a picture of the kids for MerryLyn....
The kids weren't in a picture taking mood....
I tried to get a picture too.....

 Paisley walking into church.....
Paisley said the prayer for Primary....
We had lots of smiles and a few tears but that's what Easter morning was like!  It was really a special morning to be there and watch the kids as they enjoyed the day!!!!  I was one lucky grandma!

Audrey's First Birthday Party (March 2013)

Ashley made a yummy lunch for Audrey's birthday party.  While no one (but me) was looking, Spencer was helping himself to some fruit salad before the party started.
Then I caught Paisley touching the sandwiches!  I had to laugh!  They were so cute!
Paisley was all dressed up pretty for the party!  What a beautiful smile!
I got to hold the birthday girl!  I sure do love her!

She was happier when her mom held her though!
The theme of the party was lady bugs.  I thought these lady bug sandwiches were not only delicious but looked so good that I had to take a picture of them!  Great job Ashley!

Finally it was time for the best part of the first birthday party!  The birthday cake!  Isn't this just a cute lady bug cake?  Audrey has a cute smile too!
She was ready for a bite!
She wasn't sure what to think of it at first.
But she quickly decided that she liked it!
Look how happy this little girl is!  See the dimple on the left side?
She was getting into the cake quite a bit.
 Having fun.....
 and more fun.....
Audrey really enjoyed her birthday cake!  She is so cute!
She had lots of help opening her birthday presents.
She did get a chance to play with her gifts some.

Some got new clothes and books too.
There were enough gifts to keep all the kids at the party happy.
Allison was having a good time sharing.
 Here's cute Audrey again....
 What a pretty smile....
Here's Paisley and  then Audrey with her new lady bug pajamas from her Grandma Tanner (me)!
I thought this picture of Audrey and Allison was cute.  They are cousins and 8 days apart.  I just want to hug them both.  I was so glad I could be at Audrey's fun birthday party!  It was great!

Easter Egg Hunt in Folsom, CA - 2013 (March)

I was so excited to get to go with Paisley and Spencer to an Easter egg hunt!  This is a beautiful picture of Paisley!
Spencer didn't seem too serious about going though!
We were running late and barely made it to the Easter egg hunt before it started!
Jason took Spencer with the 3 yr olds and I took Paisley with the 5 yr olds.
Paisley was just delighted with all of her candy.
She just wanted certain colors of eggs or she could have gotten more eggs.  She had her strategy and it was different than mine!  I was encouraging her to get all the eggs!  I didn't realize until after the egg hunt what she was doing!  :)
After the egg hunt we had fun putting together puzzles.  Paisley and Spencer are both really good at puzzles.
Paisley is just a little princess!  I bought this dress online thinking that it was white and would be the perfect baptism dress.  I was disappointed when it came that it had silver glitter on it.
Fortunately Paisley loves the dress.  It's a size 8 so it's still big for her but I hope she'll still get lots of use out of it.  She is just beautiful in it.  (Unfortunately all sales were final and I couldn't return it.)

Family Reunion (Grants Pass) - April 2013

It was one busy day the day before Isaiah's blessing.  I was so excited to see everyone.
Allison had started to walk but I caught her crawling.
Audrey was outside checking out the dirt and leaves in her hands.
The kids were very eager to help put dirt in the wheelbarrow for their Uncle Nate.  I was surprised that they didn't get dirt all of themselves or each other.  Good kids!
Their attention span was short lived.
A happy Audrey safe in her mother's arms.
Spencer stayed to help with the dirt after everyone else had quit.
Snack time - everyone loved yogurt and cereal!
Weston was doing a great job drawing and I was impressed.
Look at these cute kids watching a little TV.  They were soon off playing though.
Brielle holding baby brother - I can see the resemblance in this picture.
We took the kids to a fair where they saw lots of bunnies.
 Cute Allison was so good.
 Paisley checking out the bunnies.
Audrey was thrilled to touch a bunny.
Fun with the bunny.
Watching the girls on horses ride around the barrels.
Casey playing with Audrey and making her laugh.
Weston riding his new racing bike.
 Isaiah full of smiles.
Benson and Allison having fun at the park in Grants Pass.
 Cute Spencer....
Jenna pushing Allison and Paisley on the swings.
Audrey eating anything she could find on the ground.
Pizza time - everyone loves pizza!
A night out for the adults!  Nate got 3 babysitters and we had a great dinner at the Tap Rock.  Thanks Nate for paying for dinner!  It was a wonderful time.  It was interesting hearing the babysitters give their reports about the evening.
Paisley and Adalei both like to draw, color, and do workbooks.  They spent some time together doing that.
It was a busy day and a fun day!  I think everyone had a great time.  The day started off with Nate and Misty going to a race in Medford but I missed going to that.  Their kids ran in that also.  The best days for me are always days I can spend with my family so this was one of those days.  I tried to take pictures to capture the activities of the day.  It was wonderful from beginning to end just being together.  I sure love my family!  They are the best!
