Mother's Day - May 2006 - Vancouver, Washington

Mother's Day was the first time I saw Adalei sit up all by herself. It was so exciting! She's leaning a little but keeping her balance! I'm thrileed that Nate, Misty and Adalei live so close to me!
Nate was throwing Adalei up in the air so I could get a picture of her smiling. She was too interested in the camera to smile.

The funnest Mother's Day ever to celebrate the day as a mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother. Here I am with Misty, Adalei, and my pretty mother's day plant from Nate, Misty and Adalei. This picture was taken at my house in Vancouver after our Mother's Day dinner.

Finally, Misty caught a picture of Adalei smiling when she didn't know she was on the candid camera! Another picture of me, Nate, and Adalei - 3 generations. Adalei has a great-grandmother and a great-great-grandfather so we'd have 5 generations if we were all together. It was a special day.

Your granddaughter is so cute! What a fun age too. Thank goodness for digital cameras and the hundreds of pics you can take in no time! LOL. What a great family you have. Take care.
