Adalei opening her gifts! This is a special gift from me - She was having too much fun with the ribbon and needed help to open the gifts. This one was her first BYU storybook and a cute BYU cougar sweatsuit with matching socks. I can't wait to see her in it.
She loves the blocks that Nate and Misty gave her for her birthday. The bowling pins are cute too!
Eating dinner of chicken and broccoli before the birthday party! She's so good.
Lights are out and everyone is singing "Happy Birthday" to Adalei. She isn't sure what is going on.

Adalei quickly figured out she could eat it one bite at a time. She such a cute little girl only eating with one hand and keeping the other one clean.

As you can see, she enjoyed her cake and ate quite a bit of it. She enjoyed her first birthday party! It was so fun! I'm thrilled that I could be there for the special first birthday! I sure love this little girl. She is my #1 granddaughter in more ways than one!

What a pretty girl. You all look so happy. Thanks for sharing the pics. Hard to believe she's a year already. They grow up way too fast. We miss Emily's baby and toddler ages already. She turned 6 9/23/06. They have birthdays really close to each other but 5 years apart. Keep the pics coming.
