Japan, Kyoto (July 2007)

A view of downtown Kyoto from up on the hill by one of the famous temples. The tower in the center of the picture is the train station. We walked from the train station up to see the temples and back again.

I bought a yukata from this man. He was so pleased to have his picture taken with Nate and Adalei. This man and his wife live in one room behind this shop that was about the same size as the store portion. The yukata cost me $29. This is a summer kimono that I will use as a summer bathrobe! It is made of cotton as the silk ones cost around $135 or more.

A temple in Kyoto...........

The river in Kyoto and a nice view of the city in the background.

Look up near the top of the hill to see another temple in Kyoto. (The happy family - Nate, Misty, Adalei)

This is one of my favorite pictures taken in Kyoto at one of the temples.

Ma we loved your posts. It was great to see Japan and that Nate was such a great missionary.
