The Bahamas!

The picture above was taken in Freeport, the Bahamas.  They had food for sale in the cute little buildings but I didn't see anyone buying it.
People at the market had little rooms in tents with their stuff for sale.  These women were making baskets and you can see all the stuff for sale behind them.

My Aunt Marcene and I had fun buying jewelry.  We both bought necklaces and other jewelry from this woman.  She was an excellent sales woman.  We both spent $25 on jewelry from her.
This picture above and the others below were taken in Nassau, the Bahamas.  Nassau is the capital of the Bahamas.  This picture above shows the entry into the straw market where the women were selling t-shirts, jewelry, toys, purses, etc. (as shown in the picture below).
From this woman above, I bought three purses for Adalei, Brielle, and Paisley.  The woman put their names on the back of each one and I took a picture of her as she was putting the names on.
This is a picture of the ocean from Nassau.  So beautiful.  The water was so clear.  We could see the fish swimming in the water and there were a lot of fish.
The picture above was taken on Bay Street - the main shopping street in Nassau.  We found jewelry in a store as cheap or cheaper than in the straw market.
This man in the white jacket is a policeman directing traffic.  I didn't see any traffic lights.  It was a busy street.
The policeman above was giving someone a ticket.
This was taken as we were leaving Nassau.  I had a fantastic time in the Bahamas and really enjoyed it.  It was so hard to leave and return home.  It was very relaxing.
