We went on a walk on a trail by Casey and Jenna's house. I thought this picture of Nate and family was really nice.
These little kids all on their own went and sat on the curb talking together. It was so cute that I just had to take a picture. (This is five of my nine grandchildren.) After this picture, Nate took the kids on a little adventure off the trail. Misty, Charity and I saw a huge snake that we think Nate disturbed. The worst part was that little Benson got a tick on his head. I couldn't watch taking it out so I didn't get a picture of that ordeal. Casey did great to notice it and remove it. Someone had a smart idea to give Benson a lollipop so he didn't even cry when they were getting the tick out!
Brielle and Weston above were watching TV. Weston just loved this race car driver outfit that Casey got at a yard sale. In the picture below you can see Benson also watching TV. I saw him in this position several times watching TV. He loves that Disney Cars movie. He is just so cute!
Adalei is almost 7 years old and has just started to read. It was so wonderful to see her reading to her sister and cousins. They read for quite awhile.
Weston and Adalei reading again. I'm so happy to see that my grandchildren love to read. They have good parents that read to them too.
This picture makes me laugh. I caught Benson on top of the island in the kitchen. He had crawled up there from the other side and had opened that drawer and got out the chocolate candy. I think he finished it off. I wanted to take a picture without distracting him. You can tell he's a lot like me since he can't leave the chocolate alone.
