Cute Elijah reading a book in his little rocking chair.
I helped Misty put up the Christmas tree and decorate for Christmas. The kids had a fun time putting up the nativity sets.
Brielle showed me some beautiful Christmas artwork from last year.
Adalei directed Brielle and Elijah with putting the ornaments on the tree.
Pajama time.........
Everyone loves the snowman..........
For a special treat, they got to watch "The Grinch Who Stole Christmas!"
Putting away the laundry....... Hanging and folding clothes....
We had a fun time at the annual Winterfest event.
Adalei, Brielle, and Elijah were so excited to attend the event.
Adalei was first to have Santa sign her book.
Brielle was second to have Santa sign her book.
Elijah passed on having Santa sign his book. Instead I took this picture of them in the Cinderella carriage.
Adalei and Elijah with the polar bear....
We made picture frames. The kids did a great job.
Nate and Misty have 4 bunnies. Adalei was playing with this one in the house.
The ward Christmas party was held during my visit so I was able to see the Primary perform. Adalei and Brielle are in the back row singing. (Brielle was also having a little bit too much fun!)
After the performance, Santa came to ask the children what they wanted for Christmas and then gave them a little bag of candy and an orange. Brielle was ahead of Adalei in the line this time.
Adalei was smiling as she talked to Santa........
Elijah really didn't want to visit Santa but he was put on his lap and I took a quick picture. He was a good sport about it.
Back home again, I took a couple of pictures of the Christmas tree. In the evenings after the kids went to bed, I wrapped Christmas presents and then the kids helped me carry them downstairs and put them under the tree each morning.
Adalei and Brielle above. I'm not sure why Brielle was doing a funny face.
It was quickly the end of the day and bedtime. I just loved these cute gingerbread nightgowns. Above Misty is having daily bedtime stories with the kids before they go to sleep for the night. It was so fun to be there to enjoy the Christmas festivities and help get ready for Christmas.
