Elijah just loves puzzles. He does puzzle after puzzle. He is only 3 years old but he does puzzles for 4, 5, and 6 year olds. He does 100 piece puzzles. He is amazing. He really enjoys putting puzzles together. I couldn't believe how good he was! He entertains himself just doing puzzles. This is something new he has started doing just since I was last there in September.
Adalei and Brielle in their new matching church dresses.
A close-up of Brielle....
Elijah can color just as good as Adalei - I was amazed! He really learns by watching his sisters.
Adalei got this new scarf at the Winterfest. It was from a charitable organization and only $5 so a great deal. She had fun with it and wore it to school and church every day after she got it. She was good at tying it too.
Brielle had her dance recital at a rest home while I was there. She was so cute dancing to some Christmas songs.
Adalei is in 1st grade this year. She is my first grandchild to have homework to do! I thought I should take a picture of the first homework! She was so cute drawing her pictures and writing about her family Christmas traditions for her homework.
For Family Home Evening, the kids made gingerbread houses for their activity. They did a great job and didn't eat any candy - at least none that I saw. Their houses turned out really cute!
My visit to Grants Pass was for 6 days and the time went really fast. It is always so hard to leave. The last day Misty took me to Harry & David's for a tour. This is something I have been wanting to do for several years. I was really excited to go. It was really interesting. I was amazed at how manual the processes are still today.
Cookie making at Harry & David's....
Making moose munch at Harry & David's - my favorite treat! We bought some to take home and were pleased to get some discounted at a tent sale. Yum! It is so good.
I had a wonderful visit. Misty is expecting Tori Anne that is due January 7th. I am so excited for her arrival and my next visit to meet her. It was really hard to leave. I enjoyed my visit and miss each of them so much. Thanks Misty, Nate, Adalei, Brielle, and Elijah for a wonderful visit! I had a great time! I had fun getting ready for Christmas and only wish that I could be there on Christmas day when you open your Christmas gifts!
