Carma and Mom in Vancouver (April 2012)

After the trip to Grants Pass for the dental work, Carma stayed a couple of days in Vancouver before she went home.  Mom stayed a week longer.  Thanks to Susan, we got a picture of mom and her daughters.
We went for our favorite street tacos with my best friend Mo for dinner one night.  We had a great time and loved the tacos too!
Here's the only family picture we got - Mom with her three kids - Randy, me and Carma!
We are so excited that Claire and John moved to Vancouver!  Yeah!  It's so fun to have them here!  They got to have a picture with Grandma Creek.
Me and my mom......
Mom said she hadn't had her favorite food in over 30 years - fried oysters!  So I took her out to lunch for fried oysters for an early Mother's Day lunch.  She really enjoyed them!
AAnother favorite place of mom's was Sweet Tomatoes so we went there for dinner - they were featuring lemon and had some awesome lemon dishes that we sure loved!  I ate too much but it was hard not to with everything tasting so good!  She wants to go back the next time she comes.
The last fun thing we did was make these butterflies.  They were a project for my Relief Society calling.  Jenna had made some similar ones for Allison's birthday party so she gave me the idea.  Aren't they cute?  Mom was a big help as we made 36 of them.
It was great having my mom and my sister here to visit.  I wish we lived closer together.  We talk a lot on the phone but it's just not the same as being together.  I was grateful that we could spend the time together.
