Don't they look great? Look how happy they are to be together and to be on vacation. We chose this weekend so we could also celebrate Casey's 27th birthday together! We were in Crescent City, California. This is the place where the Redwoods meet the Pacific Ocean so we could enjoy both in one visit. It was great! More pictures will follow......
Whenever we all get together, my #1 priority is to get a family picture. I know the family photographer (Jason) will have a professional photo coming later but for now, this is the best picture I have. They were all up on a ledge and I was down on the beach which was quite a distance away. It was a foggy day as you can tell from the picture. I didn't have a picture with everyone looking exactly forward so you can't see Adalei's face but I'll make up for it in another picture.
This is my wonderful family - Casey (the FBI candidate) with Jenna and cute little Weston on the left. Then Nate and Misty with Adalei and Brielle. You can't tell but I'm proud to announce that Misty will be having #3 the beginning of October. They haven't decided on "his" name yet. Moving to the right, Charity is next - the best aunt to her little nieces and nephew. And, on the far right, Jason and Ashley with Paisley. Jason just announced at our family reunion that Ashley is expecting #2 in November but the gender will be a surprise. We are really excited for that addition also.
Two more babies in 2009! I'm really excited. I am so fortunate and so blessed to have such a wonderful family. They make it a priority to get together with me once a year for a reunion and then every other year for Christmas except baby births will complicate this year's plans. If they don't come to me, I'll have to go to them! I already can't wait to see them all!
