Helping with the New Baby in Folsom (11/29 to 12/5/09)

After having Ashley's surprise birthday party and Spencer getting blessed, I "moved" in with Jason and Ashley for a week to help out and try to give Ashley a break. For FHE that Monday, Jason treated us all to a scrumptious pizza dinner in Folsom. We loved the food and I want to go back there on my next visit. It was so pretty at night with the beautiful Christmas lights in downtown Folsom that I just had to take a picture.

We have a tradition of going to Tahoe Joe's every time I visit. We love the nachos and I love the salads. Paisley was having fun on her Aunt Charity's lap and I just had to take a picture. Did you notice the knife in the water glass?

Cute little Weston had more energy than he could contain until dinner was over at Tahoe Joe's so Casey took him outside to run around. When we came out of the restaurant to leave a little later, Weston was looking at us so cute that I had to take another picture!
Tahoe Joe's was Tuesday night that week and a good-bye dinner for Casey as he left the next day for work in Angola, Africa. (I'm so happy he returned home safe in time for Christmas after being there for three weeks!)

Along with laundry, playing with Paisley, serving leftovers from Thanksgiving/eating out, and trying to keep the apartment tidy, I was able to hold Spencer and get some cute pictures of him. He is so tiny and so cuddly. This is the best age. He is such a good baby. I sure love him.

Ashley and I took Paisley and Spencer to Target to get some diapers. Before we realized it, Paisley was behind the check out stand trying to help the cashier check us out! She was so cute so I had to take another picture. The cashier was so sweet and said maybe some day Paisley would have her job!

Paisley was so cute - I was reading my book that is on the left side of the picture when all of a sudden Paisley came and got under the covers and gave me her book to read to her. She'd get all situated and then say to me, "okay" so I knew I could start reading. It seems like she said something else that was really cute and funny but I can't remember what it was...... Jason took a video of it so I need to watch it and see what I've forgotten.
These are just my favorite times reading stories with my grandchildren............
