Before we got off the tour buses, we were warned that the area (as well as other areas in Jerusalem) had heavy pick-pocketing going on. We were advised to leave everything on the bus that we could. Therefore, I only took my camera with me and kept it in my pocket. This picture above gives you an idea of how small the sidewalks were and how crowded it was with people. Thus, I assume that makes it easier for pick-pocketing. I was really uncomfortable walking these streets and made sure to stay close to the group.

The picture above shows a group of school kids.
It was interesting to see so much stone - no dirt, no grass, no flowers......
The passageways are quite narrow.

This is it! The location of the Last Supper!
This picture above shows about half of the room/building.
The picture below shows a close up of the ceiling in this room. I thought it was very beautiful.

The picture below shows one of the columns with wear visible.

Below is a picture I took from right outside the Last Supper room - I didn't notice it from the inside but thought it looked very beautiful. I believe it is considered the star of David.

Leaving the room of the Last Supper, we walked out into this area shown in the picture below.

This final picture below was taken upon our departure from the room of the Last Supper. Again you can see how narrow the path. Along our way, there were street vendors selling many items. One had a nativity set made from olive wood for $60. At the time I thought it was expensive but after going to the shops with nativity sets for sale, I realized how inexpensive it was. Of course the tour guides hurried us along so only those that were willing to hold up the entire group stopped to purchase. Charity and I did quickly buy a couple of silver bracelets without causing any delay....
